Donny, I think I misunderstood you on The Recruting Animal Show, yesterday, when we were talking about Twitter. You said that these microblog or mass instant messaging services would become more powerful when they were audio enabled. So that people could phone in messages and they would be translated into text or simply be conveyed in the original spoken format. Is that right? If so, you had an interesting point and we'll take it up another time because sometimes I'm a bit slow and I didn't understand.

Great post, as usual, Mr. 2007 Recruiting Technology blog award-winner. But you should have also listed recruiter-created CSE examples in this list, such as http://www.recruitingsearchengine.com (which is the catchier name for http://www.google.com/coop/cse?cx=012862367242752395963%3Ac16aynelpuu).

EngineMe sounds like a good idea, but why not take it one step further value-wise? Offer to use Broadlook Profiler to generate the relevant organizations list (whether it be competitors, trade associations, or whatever) and use the results to create the CST. I have learned from first-hand experience that 95% of recruiters don't know the full relevant list of sites they should incorporate. Last but not least, this should make your bean-counters happy: You could charge extra (i.e., make it a premium tier of EngineMe) for this service! But since I gave you the idea, sign me up for the current beta before you starting charging for it...
